Spirited Performance From RS

RS back after a week off from CNY, first team in the block is 1 of the top team in the league Damar Jaya FC.

With hangover from CNY mood & some of the players is injured during firecracker competition & god of gambler bet, RS is little short in midfield option today.

RS starter the match in usual 451 with Adrian marshalled the backline, captain SB back to midfield to support the defense.

RS try to not rush the attack & keeping the team shape to thwart the attack from Damar Jaya FC, though they look brighter than RS, they found no space to attack behind, can only shoot chicken from outside the box, though all shot are on target, but Adie the gk standing tall & firm.

Coach Mr.xXx game plan is to slow down the pace of the game & try to found Rooy or WL to attack them with pace on occasions.

RS contained them, though Damar Jaya did raise their play with 2 playmaker subbed on during half time. RS lost Adrian with the muscle injury, Chin Heng & SB tried their best to organize & thwarting their attacks.

Damar Jaya finally found a way to beat RS defensive line with a little through ball at the tip of penalty area, a runner of them running from midfield avoided all the attention of RS players & slotted passed Adie's leg, Damar Jaya lead 1-0.

RS didn't lost the fighting spirit & continue the game plan. Rooy caught a poor control from opponent defender & drive to the heart of the penalty area, he draw the keeper out & dribbled past him, unfortunately the angle is too tight, unselfishly pass the ball to find Kelvin in the middle, he made a mess with the first touch but recover with the second & avoided the last ditch challenge of the defenders, with the goal gapping, he try to put into the top corner, sadly his body shape is all wrong when he took the shot, the ball flies past agonishingly the post.

Damar Jaya continue their fierce but blindly attack on RS, Chin Heng standing tall & keep clearing all the ball coming to him.

Highlight of the game is Adrian Lau the RS legend did demonstrate the ultimate defensive man to man marking skills to the world, he follow Damar Jaya attacker like the Eagle trying to hunt down a chick that without the hen - without looking where the ball is, opponent try to pass the ball to the attacker, Lau 'managed' to clear the ball with 1 inch of his hip & 4 inch of his ass without looking at the ball, opponent is amazed by his skills & applauding him.

Sadly RS not able to muster another attack to challenger their keeper, ending the match with a lost at 0-1.

After the match, coach Mr.xXx is satisfied with the performance & spirit of the team despite the lost. He want the team to carry on with the same mindset & believe RS can be better.
