Home league match

Real Madrinks faced off against UTH Management at The Lusaka Club on a pulsating afternoon, with the match concluding in a narrow 4-3 defeat for the hosts. The game, which kicked off at 12:00pm, was a gripping contest that showcased both teams' attacking prowess and tactical discipline.

Real Madrinks set up in a 4-5-1 formation, aiming to control the midfield and build attacks from deep. The backline provided defensive solidity and width, while the five-man midfield combined creativity and work rate to dominate possession. Up front, a lone striker was tasked with breaking through UTH Management's defensive line.

The opening exchanges saw both sides cautiously testing each other, but UTH Management broke the deadlock in the 36th minute with a well-executed goal that caught the Real Madrinks defence off-guard. Just three minutes later, they doubled their lead with another clinical finish, leaving the hosts stunned and trailing 2-0.

Real Madrinks, however, responded before the break. In the 43rd minute, Isaac Bush, capitalising on a flowing move orchestrated by the managers, found the back of the net to bring the score to 2-1 and inject hope into the home side heading into halftime.

The second half began with Real Madrinks making tactical adjustments. In the 66th minute, Micheal Mukuka was introduced to add fresh energy. However, despite their growing presence, UTH Management extended their lead in the 73rd minute, making it 3-1.

The game burst to life in the 77th minute when two quickfire goals were exchanged. UTH Management struck again to make it 4-1, but Real Madrinks hit back almost immediately through Nelson Phiri, who finished calmly to reduce the deficit to 4-2.

A flurry of substitutions followed as Real Madrinks pushed for a comeback: Egar Kawiku came on in the 80th minute, followed by Jumali Nkhoma in the 81st, Bwalya John Kachamba in the 82nd, and Mwenge M in the 85th. The changes added impetus, and in the 88th minute, substitute Jumali Nkhoma made an instant impact, scoring a well-taken goal to bring the score to 4-3.

Despite their relentless pressure in the final minutes, Real Madrinks couldn’t find the equaliser. UTH Management held firm to secure a hard-fought win in a match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

The performance showcased the determination and depth of Real Madrinks, whose late resurgence underlined their fighting spirit. While the result wasn’t in their favour, the team proved they are capable of mounting strong challenges in future fixtures.
