In a disappointing league encounter on 3rd May 2025, Rathcoole FC's over 35s side succumbed to a 4-1 defeat against Terenure o35s at their home ground in Rathcoole. The match, which kicked off at 4:00pm, saw Rathcoole struggle to maintain their early lead, ultimately allowing Terenure to dominate the game.
Rathcoole FC lined up in a 3-4-1-2 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for attacking opportunities through the midfield.
