PFC U16 Real 4-3 PFC U16 SAT
Despite limited numbers it was great to get the lads a game this morning to bring more match fitness into their legs.
Considering we fielded the two new lads in Jack and Kallum, had the services of Dayne and utilised an opposition defender in each half, the lads did a great job. It allowed us to play the 4-3-3 formation too which is really important for us in these pre season games.
The Real team (and all their players were there today) finished 3rd in The Prem of The North Bury last season and, after a shaky start our lads looked the better team in possession, we just lacked a little physicality in the battles. The penalty was a very harsh decision on 8 minutes and the manner of their second goal is definitely something we need to work on. At points in the game we pressed them well and defensively the centre half pairing and wing play is starting to develop. Our build up build up play from the back was great and we created plenty of chances, a little more composure in front of goal and we would have scored more goals today. Harrison L again made some superb saves in both halves which made big difference ???????? Overall another good run out, the lads are taking on the points Pete and I are putting to them - Just a little more talking pls between you lads on the pitch ??
