Shawside Juniors 4 vs 0 Prestwich FC Thunder

Well that definitely wasn’t the performance I hoped for this morning, I felt we really struggled to get our game going at all today which was my biggest disappointment and I can’t really remember any chances we created , I did ask the lads at half time to be more aggressive out of possession and not to give them space to play which I honestly think they did but we got caught a few times resulting in the score line . On the up side though we showed some good grit against a very physical side and in the end stood up to there approach . Feel us having that game before the weekend was a great one to bring us back down a little and highlight that if we don’t implement our own game style we will struggle to beat teams . Cob webs blown off now we going into Weds training with the mindset to get a result in the cup on Sunday. Some good performances from a few today who stood up to the challenge one of these being Adam who deserved the MOTM he played in two positions today and showed exactly what he can bring especially in game like today well done ????????
