It’s not often I’m lost for words but this mornings performance brought me close to it. WOW, the quality of the play for 70 minutes from the boys was fantastic, all the bits we’ve been working hard to create in training came together perfectly, full credit goes to the lads for putting the hard yards in ???? They could have easily dropped the standard of play and just gone directly for more goals in the second half with 5-0 lead, but they didn’t, they continued to build the plays, work passing angles and wow were they deadly in finishing, superb. That really says a lot about the style they want to play. ?? We decided to start with a back 4 not having played Saddleworth, looking at their stats we read into them that they had two lads who’ve scored a lot of goals. With the 2 goal cushion we switched to a back 3 and the boys at the back looked comfortable and dominant ?? They’ve now given themselves a real chance to win The Presidents Cup. (Final date set for 1st May). If they can continue with that statndard of football between now and the end of the season, you just never know ??MOTM - Fynn, a super game today, supported at the back early on before stepping into the centre, grabbing himself ?????? too ???? Special mention for Alex too for his ?????? too today ???? Well done Thunder ????????????
