Fantastic morning of football from the lads against a very good footballing side that clearly don’t lose often . We started with bang with some fantastic interplay and a great throughball from JJ on to the debutant Dayne who slotted home beautifully . BAC came back into the game but we remained on top for the majority of the first half . Second half we stepped it up and pinned them back and we had some great opportunities to make it 2 but the woodwork took a battering and there keeper made some excellent stops , eventually the pressure paid off and James hit the strike of his life from just outside the 18 yard box no keeper was stopping it ! Unbelievable goal and fully deserved! So proud of the effort the lads put in today with us being at bare numbers they all deserved today’s result . I left MOTM to Jay ( again thanks mate for giving me a hand really appreciate it ) I felt today was such a difficult one as so many deserved it . He chose JJ who as his dad I’m very critical of but credit where credits due he played a new role today of CDM he looked very comfortable especially on the ball on a tight pitch . Like I said though so many deserved it today
