<p>A topsy turvey game for the score, but plenty to enjoy.

Watching on whilst banned is never fun, so it&rsquo;s odd to go through the gamut of emotions from a different perspective. The way Tring started, I thought we might be in a bit of trouble. They pass and press well from the centre mid into the feet of their forwards. Going 0-1 down on five minutes left me wondering if were were going to take a shoeing. I needn&rsquo;t have worried, as we settled and started to press ourselves. It became apparent that they aren&rsquo;t as good at the back, and so we set about getting back. In 20 minutes we had managed to secure 3 goals via a Machine brace and an excellent performance form Mikey (earning MOM). A word for Mikey here, who has lit the touch paper for returning and Sub players. His effort and industry was the standard expected from someone who wants a place in the team. Fair Play. Indeed it ignited Dave, who in replacing Mikey I told had the toughest of jobs being measured against his stride. Fair play to the cup, he put in a shift.

Now - the end of the game was all about nerves. The only reason we didn&rsquo;t take the three points was indecisiveness and a fear of loosing. Its not a dig, but an observation of what we need to be aware of. We need to play with the freedom, and decision making that got us back in, and then leading. The NightHawk refers to it as game management, and he is right. A time to pass and a time to clear, a take on or a cross, into touch or a lump forward - decisions all. This is where we work. This will be our test to Pass or Fail in the coming weeks.
