Poor Performance From P.B Ends With Draw Against Eltham

<p>Paul Birch were back in action for their first game in over 2 weeks, with a strong looking squad consisting of 13 players... a high for the season.<p>Paul Birch got off to a slow start but scored with great play from Daniel Sault who opened the scoring when he turned his defender inside the box unleashing a blistering strike into the top left corner of the goal.<p>It all went down hill from that point with Paul Birch never getting into the game during the first period, ending the first half 2-1 down, letting in two sloppy goals!<p>The second half was much better with Paul Birch pushing higher up the field!<p>Alan Selby equalised with a lovely left footed finish following a pin point through ball from Steve Birch and PB eventually took the lead once again through Muzzy who tapped in a low drilled cross.<p>Paul Birch made a number of changes after the third goal which disrupted their momentum! Eltham took full advantage of this and scored the equaliser following some poor defending from PB, which eventually led to a header being tapped in inside the six yard box!<p>Paul Birch pushed for the winner which never came and ended the game with their second draw of the season.
