Ouston chalked off another win on their push for the title, and in doing so mathematically confirmed their promotion to the Premier League for next season.
A very strong performance resulted in a cracking 7-1 victory away at West Rainton.
Ouston started very quickly and could've scored from kick off with a good 4 pass move leading to a good save from the Rainton Keeper from Josh Scott's effort. Chances kept coming and going as Ouston were first to everything and it didn't take long for the opener, Tomo Gray returning to outfield duties after deputising in goal in the previous match, was first to Paul Chilton's corner from the left to flick into the back of the net.
Ouston continued to dominate, but only had one more goal to show for it at the break, skipper Mark Bailes rising to head home Reece Hutchinson's second attempt at a cross.
The next goal was going to be key after the break, and Ouston got it within 5 minutes, Tomo Gray's header was cleared off the line only for Chad Brennan to smash home the rebound. Ouston added another 3 within 10 minutes between 60 and 70 mins. Clarkson got the first two of these after being supplied by Josh Scott, after a fine move, and Chad Brennan respectively. The third was supplied by substitute Micky Ross, for Mark Bailes to add his second of the game, and he turned supplier for Chad Brennan to round off the scoring on 85 minutes after Rainton had pulled one back in between times.
There was still time for Ouston keeper Dom McMahon to shine, saving a penalty and diving at the attackers feet to prevent him putting in the rebound, taking a kick in the face for his troubles.
