vs Ferryhill Dynamoes

Home league match

Ouston rounded off their season with a 9-4 victory at home to Ferryhill Dynamoes, ending up dropping just 2 points at home all season.
In a game where both defences struggled, Ouston fell behind from the penalty spot before going two one up through two goals from top scorer Andrew Clarkson, both provided by Josh Scott from the left wing. Ferryhill the equalised from a rebound off a dubiously awarded free kick before Clarkson completed his hat trick from the spot after being fouled himself on the half hour mark.
Josh Scott then grabbed his 3rd goal in as many games following up Jon Morrison's great header which came back off the post, and Clarkson robbed the Ferryhill keeper on the stroke of half time to add his 4th and make it 5-2 at the break.
The second half started quietly with Ferryhill probably edging the early exchanges, but it was Clarkson again who added his 5th goal after latching onto a short back pass.
Ferryhill then added another from the spot after another dubious award from the referee, but substitute Reece Hutchinson finished off Micky Ross' fine through ball to make it 7-3 shortly after. Ferryhill scored yet another penalty to make it 7-4 before substitute for the day Mark Bailes added a fine free kick after Stu Pryer's marauding run had been halted unfairly, and Clarkson added his 6th of the game with a fine lob from Ryan Drummond's through ball.
An eventful end to a good season for Ouston, who look forward to the challenge of life in the premier league next season.
