<p>A goalless draw with the team booed off the pitch and chants tomanagement of 'you don't know what you're doing' ringing out at RMS.<p>Or, what a terrifically spirited and hugely stubborn performance fromphantoms to gain a point against a physically gifted team in coldconditions.<p>In fact it was so cold at one point that we were huggingthe first aid ice packs to keep warm.<p>Phantoms started trying to play short passing football and quicklyfound that we were being outmuscled and losing the ball in areas ofthe pitch that were not ideal...<p>tactics were to try and play out towide areas of pitch...<p>scrappy first half up the slope.<p>Alton were playing through 11, with their tactic to cross ball early and overloadback post as our team drifted across.<p>Phantoms were quite comfortable,looking themselves to break with Alton playing a high line.<p>Second half we started poorly and lost a flurry of 50:50s...<p>carelessplay, losing the ball too easily, we were skating on thin ice.<p>We were dropping deep and had too much separation between def/midfield and attacking unit.<p>we almost nicked it at the end, the chance from inside the box going just wide...<p>Another clean sleet as we have now conceded just 5 goals in the last 6league games...<p>wow! That is the best defensive record in the division,sadly we cannot score freely and this is a slight problem.
