Flex needed to win this one otherwise a season of so many highs would crumble to ground in the ultimate low....semi final day was here vs Another prem side in the shape of St pauls for
A good team who wanted to play football from the back give the flex a fair warning that they were in a game and it wasn't going to be easy....although alot of missed chances would have made it so. None more than davys goaline clearance from a pato corner that was going in anyway blooper indeed. Soon after st pauls took the lead as the game opened up. .1-0 st pauls. The flex then lifted there efforts and got level straight away foley winning the ball in the air hit a raised st pauls arm in the box and the ref was in a great position to give the penalty....Davy stepped up and hit the back of the net making up for his earlier sitter flex 1 st pauls 1..back an fourth we went and then St pauls went back in front with some good football. flex 1 st pauls 2. Again the flex had to respond and they did stuie took a long throw and foley jumping highest got a vital touch and the ball found its way in off the back post....finally he did it and the flex were level...flex 2 st pauls 2.
