After another scalp against sacred heart in the previous round the flex were fresh from a week off ready to take on another prem opponent in Scarisbrick Hall.
In typical fashion the flex flew out the trap like a hungry greyhound and within seconds we knew the rabbit didn't stand a chance...it took only minutes before we had the ball in the net. twice infact!! only to ruled out for offside...wrongly I might add for one of them...however it didn't take long be4 the flex had there lead....winning the ball back in midfield and playing a delightful through ball foley gets Davy in on goal he unselfishly squares it tom who finished at the 3rd attempt bundling it over line...1-0 flex. Then came a little lull in the flex pressure after a quick respite the flex put the foot back on the gas and started to turn the screw....on 25mins we got the 2nd pato whipped in a free kick from the right and foley had the chance to break his duck BUT it wasn't to be the keeper made a good reaction save and it fell kindly for Joe who scored his 2nd in 3 games...2-0 flex....just before half time the flex killed the game and the hopes of s,hall tom was fouled on the edge of the box and pato with the aid of a deflection put in the 3rd for the flex 3-0 flex..

For the first 25mins of 2nd half it was a similar story flex dominated all areas just too good for our opponents...the 4th came around the 50 minute mark...Jordan from the left hit a lovely cross field ball into danny's feet..doing his part keeping the move going his first touch so good set him to deliver a ball and through went tom again...Lob!!! him!!!! was the cry and Tom obliged lifting his shot over the on rushing keeper....flex 4 -0....with game won the flex became a little sloppy in possession but we're still superb going forward Thomas and roly both narrowly missing chances....only one black mark on the game a fluke cross went in to snatch the clean sheet from ours hands very frustrating but shows how far we've come to be pissed off when we concede...
