Millennium travelled to the Ayrshire village for the 12.30 kickoff in this cold windy day and were on the back foot within 30 seconds when our boys failed once again to defend a corner. Millennium tried to play football with some nice stuff from shay Owen and great driving runs by cammy? There was some tough defending to be had in the first 10 mins and geechy stepped up to the task, but millennium went 2 down again from a corner simple lack of marking from our defence, millennium did try but going into half time 4 down didn’t help the boys,
2nd half started same as 1st half and a simple ball down the right by the home team cross ball to box simple tap in made 5.
Again as previous games lack of tackles and communication from the boys the heads down and falling out again at back, home team make run from own half not 1 tackle from our midfield or defence 6.0.... Alfie was unlucky towards end with his shot just wide and to finish a long ball from the home defence wipes out our whole team to finish 7.0 ..
The boys did try play at times but once again to many look lost in this fixture,lack of fight tackles passion from a team who once won game after game, they look lost at halftime and lack confidence definetly need to practice corners both in defence and attack.
