Slow start from middy today, never really got going second to most of the loose baldly and credit to Glodwick for there hard work. Neither team really created much, Logan not having to make any save,’s and like wise for the opposition keeper. 2nd half Middleton started to move the ball a bit quicker, and get players up to support Rutter who had a tough job as a lone striker. Break through came from a free kick with George Fanos reacting the quickest to grab his first goal of the season, from then on there was only one team going to score, and it came from great skill from rutter in a parked penalty area, not sure how, but he managed to chip it over one defenders head, the rifled it in the back of the net on the volley, great finish. The third was added late into the game with a quick free kick rolled out to Rhys who whipped the ball high over the keepers head into the top corner to round off a great display from him. Man if the match went to Rian who was solid at the back, tricky game against chadderton next week, let’s hope the lads can keep up the momentum. All round great victory and tough battle.
