Keeper Takes Steriods

<p>In the first game of the new Thursday league in a very winnable game Michu found themselves on the receiving end of an unreal performance by the opposition goalkeeper. A poor tactical decision from Chip to play four attackers from the start did not pay off conceding three very early quick goals although with James running the opposition defence ragged it could of been a different start. Two changes were made quickly and the game started to change with a more defensive team out on the pitch.Attempts from Slat and James were again stopped by the keeper then shockingly Chip was layed off had a pop from distance and it managed to swerve in instead of over the fence like the norm. A couple of minutes later chip was again laid off and had a shot from distance which deflected and wrong footed the keeper hitting the back of the net. At this point Michu were on top of the game and pressing hard with the keeper keeping out numerous attempts from Slat, James, Matt, G, Peter and Chip although Chip scoring twice clearly became over confident and was soon slinking the ball high and wide again. subs were being made to keep everyone fresh. Whilst Michu were pushing it left the team light at the back with the opposition eventually counter attacking and finishing the game off. Even when it seemed over again a number of shots were stopped by the keeper and left the Michu lads wondering what they had to do all in all not a terrible performance and deserved better.
