Lions , Fun In The Park

<p>Lions pretty much dominated Park Lane who had set up very much to get bodies behind the ball. On a bumpy narrow pitch Lions did well to get the ball down and play. Abbey's wing play set up chances and Glen's header hit the post before Abbey opened the scoring.Pete's throw targeted Glen who nodded back to Abs who smashed it in to the roof of the net from 12 yards. Secod wa a peach Nath released Abbey who skinned th defence don the right before firing a crss which Ram did well to pull back across goal for Nath who had made a great run in to the box and he found the bottom corner. Lions pressure brought a third first half goal Ram's corner headed home by Rory. 3 changes at the break and it did not take Bill long to get his first goal since his return to the Lions. An excellent finish capped off a fine move of one and two touch passes. Park Lane got one back. 3 more rotations midway through the half. A great interchange between Ram and Elz got Elz on the score board and cmpleted a hat trick of assists for M Angry. Late on a great run by Shea down the left, he fed Elz who cut inside his defender and produced a cheeky finish at the keeper's near post. A 6.1 win, finally topping 5 in the league.
