<p>Lions were missing several players but still sent out a strong side with injured Rammy going in goal. Ram did a great job, full of confidence and banter apart from when he went to sleep to get beaten from a second half restart. Back 3 Pete, Macca and Rory were on their game keeping out Anchs attacks. Bill and Brad bossed the centre and chipped in with a goal each in the first half which Lions controlled. Nath and Shea built attacks from the wings, Jas opened up Anchs defence with runs and accurate passing while Elz and Ricki stretched them. Elz got the third early in the second half with a great dribble and finish. A fantastic team move finished with a great cross from Shea and volleyed finish by Jason, 4.0. Elz took advantage of careless defending to score another great solo goal for the fifth Anchs scored from halfway on the restart 5.1. Martin and Lewis fitted in well as subs and late rotation put Nath up front and he loved showing the gaffer how lethal he is with a lob over the keeper from a perfect through ball by Jason. A 6.1 win and top performance all round. Pete MOM never put a foot wrong. Teynham next. LIIIIOOONNNSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
