The second half began and eight minutes into the second half a scramble in our goal area resulted in a goal for Earlestown. The team pulled themselves together and with words of encouragement from James their captain the defence became stronger and more assertive. With some good strong break aways Matthiola dominated the second half and with one such charge up the wing by Connor, Stelios was waiting ready for the cross, in it came a quick touch to control it and a right foot connected with the ball to give Stel a goal and put Matthiola a huge advantage and no chance of Earlestown coming back.
