HALF TIME 2-0...

Can't not really criticise Dendy today they had to play the hand dealt to them a bare eleven of players who hadn't played together.
When Dendy needed fresh legs or changes their was none available. Against them was a team full of confidence with a cup final to look forward too and sitting pretty at the top of the league.
Dendy worked hard for the first 45mins going in at half time still in the game.

The first 15 mins of the second half were a nightmare for Dendy as a quick smooth passing Saxons scored five goals. Dendy looked down hearted and very disjointed and i starting to worry about the amount it would end on. Too be fair to Dendy the last 30 mins they didn't give up. Dendy even had a couple of chances themselves with only the out stretched goal keepers foot keeping one out.

Minus points only 11 players turned up and not many of them had played a lot this season. Lack of passing quality and subs made it very hard with Saxons making changes regular and Dendy unable to do anything but chase the ball in a very tiring game.

plus points 11 turned up. They kept trying to the end. On a personal level it was good to see Dan back and even though he is still rusty after being out of football for two years his game was a fast improvement on his last two appearances i think having 90 mins helped him.

Man of the match was Perry in net who must have had a nightmare in goal but if it wasn't for him it would have been more and he always kept his head up.

Donkey was Parker for putting the middle flags on the line.

FOOD at the Egerton was FISH CHIPS MUSHY PEAS AND TARTAR SAUCE it was very nice and plentiful.
