Not at our best today therefore we were unable to salvage any points from that game. Even though we didn’t win we managed to play the ball nicely and smoothly meaning Harry could have some shots up front sadly we couldn’t score. Alex played well in the middle managing to create good chances for the team to push up the field. Seb and Alfie interacted well but didn’t play amazingly although Alfie was able to push the team forward from dribbling along the wing.
In the second half things went downhill Sean with a bump on the head then soon after a goal was scored against us. Even with a bump Sean still managed to save us multiple times. Seb , Alfie and Dylan unable to push the ball into the attacking third because of the pressing from the opposition. Max and Jacob played well along the wings collecting balls well but like the rest of the team they didn’t play at their best. Mo did well taking on the opposition however he didn’t get many shots.
Next week I think the team should realise that they shouldn’t come into a game thinking they will win because other teams despite not being good will work their socks off. Otherwise our performance wasn’t the worst and I want the boys to take their losses in because we all learn from our mistakes.
