MATCH REPORT BY COACH DAVE
Disappointing performance and result today. We hardly saw any evidence of what we've become so accustomed to seeing from our boys.
Never got out of the blocks. Conceded a sloppy goal in the first half. 1-0 down at half time.
Soon after the break Kingsley scored again, which prompted us to finally wake up.
A more positive spell led to us being awarded a penalty which unfortunately we couldn't convert. Seth then went on mazy run from defence which led to a bit of a scramble in their 6 yard box. The ball eventually fell to Seth who finished from close range. We then had a great chance to equalise in the last minute but Jacob's poke towards goal was cleared off the line.
Although we did improve as the game went on, we gave ourselves too much to do and got what we deserved. It was a very rare bad day at the office and a boot up the bum. And it does no harm to have a boot up the bum now and again.
