MATCH REPORT BY CAPTAIN NIHAL

Starting off with some good play on the right wing by Marshalls, but unfortunately we couldn't get the cross off.

Soon after that a good tackle by Ben C, who passed the ball to Ben Robbo and after receiving it, Elijah shot but it was pushed wide - corner for Marshalls. Corner ball went in off a Halewood player, 1-0 to us.

Later in the half, two great tackles from Noah on the left kept the opposition out of the box.

Shortly after, a free kick led to the great use of an offside trap by Marshalls, preventing Halewood scoring.

After that there was a nice tackle by Noah, passed to Joe then Elijah, almost getting through. Two minutes later, a long ball by Eddie led to a great shot by Elijah, unfortunately it was just wide.

Then there was a through ball by Ben Robbo, sadly, it was too fast-paced for Elijah who couldn't get on to it. Minutes later, a long ball over the top by Halewood led to a goal, 1-1.

Soon after, a great run and cross by Ben C, however, no one could get on the end it.

Again, good use of the offside trap by Marshalls and seconds later, a cross by Jordan, but quickly defended by Halewood preventing us scoring.

Half time score: 1-1.

In the 2nd half a great run and cross by Harry, Jordan got on the end of it and the rebound almost went in, but no luck this time.

At this point we seemed to have lost our confidence as 4 minutes later, a scrappy goal went in for Halewood, 2-1.

Halewood then beat the offside trap, 3-1 to them. In the last few minutes, a good goal by Halewood, 4-1.

Final score, 4-1 to Halewood.
