We've had a few kicks in the plumbs over the course of our Barkhill journey together, but I cant think of many bigger kicks than this morning.
And yes whilst we could have done better with one or two of their goals, and our anticipation could have been better at times, I was HUGELY proud of that performance and HUGELY proud of every single one of our diamonds ????
SO MANY POSITIVES to take. Some lovely, brave confident passing footy throughout (particularly out from the back) and some wonderful chances created. Our defensive and attacking units both did their respective jobs and worked well together.
But in addition to the above, two things stood out for me.
Firstly, the attitude of our game changers and the boys that came off was superb. Not an ounce of moaning or pecking at me asking when they're coming on. Every one of them made a big impact ??
Secondly, the belief our boys showed throughout. We had so many knocks and things go against us over the course of the game, but they all kept believing ??
Hopefully our luck will change one of these days and proper, honest footy will one day be the winner. And that WILL happen folks.
