A thrilling game between Barkhill and Berkley (3-3)
Goal scorers: Freddie, Patrick and Elijah
Not the best start to the game, we weren’t switched on as team from kick off, conceding very early in the first half, but we showed great resilience in our response as a team resulting in Freddie scoring and equalising to make it 1-1.
Continuing the dominance we went on to score again, this time Patrick with a nice, well placed finish, tucked in the corner. We were still controlling the game until they scored a worldy (not sure it would’ve happened if Dave didn’t give them the throw in though ????).
The second half started as the first ended with Barkhill on top, controlling the possession. A slight defensive error caused their third goal but as a team we never gave up and Elijah scored a last minute equaliser which was more than deserved.
A very respectable result as they had more than 3 subs while we played the full match without a single sub but a great game and a great performance overall. Up the Barkhill ??????
