From the start we dictated the game on a very dry pitch, but our passing was good and we kept the ball, we just didn't have the final ball. They scored two quick goals on the counter totally against the run of play, a bit of a mix up from us but despite this we continued to dominate the ball. Somehow at half time we are 3-0 down. We knew we just had to keep playing and we would get our break.
Playing slightly downhill 2nd half helped as we triangled our way around the pitch, then Harry P smashed one back, it was game on. We moved the ball fast and used our with from a corner Joe scores! Get in! Berkley look shot, then Elijah is put through after some nice work down our left, keeper comes Elijah half shot half pass reaches Nathan its 3-3 c'mon let's win it now. Our great play has paid off.
The game goes scrappy, balls bouncing all over we lose our rhythm and allow them to break a couple deflections and the score 5 shots 4 goals how we lost I don't know, but we played so well.
Now on to the Summer League and more games with 80% possession. Up the Barkhill.
