Mallow are now 5pts clear top of the table with 3 games in hand and need to win 4 games out of the last 7 to win the league .Hit with players playing GAA like all other clubs in the league Mallow proved to once again missing a number of options didn't hurt the side due to retaining 14 committed men to the cause. After a nervous start with the wrong pass or option the game was slow and of poor quality . Dominic Bolster and David Relihan would make great timed last man tackles in the 1st half . The game speed was quicker towards the end of the 1st half and Killian O Brien proved why he is the best right back in the league and sent in a super cross for Seon to scramble into the net .Nerves settled and the passing and quality football began to shine again .

Seon ran the Park backline back as only he can and Dean Twomey found loads of space when his touch and good dribbling caused all sorts of problems , Trevor ,Jack and Adam once again where showing they are the best midfield three in the league by working hard and defending and attacking with their high work rates .David Relihan and Killian O Brien proving that a full back can also be a great outlet for attacks and not just a defender . Dom Bolster on another day could have scored 2-3 from set pieces .Fionn was himself a propper old school no nonsense defender .Jordan always works hard and was honest as he always gives his best .

Park had to come out and not time waist so the game was more open .With the midfield on top Jake Buckley ( a school mate of the Park players) came on against his friends and ran the right wing knocked it back to Killian and another great cross was met by Dean Twomey who was having his best game of the season to volley in 2-0 ( saved his best game for one of the biggest games ) Adam McGrath worked on set pieces during the week and his hard work paid off when he crossed for Jake to thump in a header for 3-0 . Now Park would have to score 4 against the meanest defence in the league .Goal keeper Thomas Hickey( who turned down playing Gaa to be committed to the Utd side ) Dave , Killian, Dom Bolster ( who also opted to go late to an Under 21 Gaa game ) and Fionn ( who left work early to play )have only conceded 11 goals in 15 games .
