Seon 2 And Jonah , 2 Missed Pens 😡🤪

A scrappy 1st half with a number of late challenges and frees even given Mallow two penalties. Kilworth long ball wasnt been dealt with and Dominic, Fionn , Dave and Killian all guilty of leaving the ball bounce or not tracking the man .Just a poor work rate all round .Dean and Jonah on the wings where excellent on the ball but the defensive hard work was lacking at times. But once Dom and Fionn got to grips with the long ball and Dean and Jonah got wide and drove the lads forward Mallow took control of the match .From being 1 nil down after 20 mins , Jonah scored an equaliser off good work from Seon .We would get two pens , Jack would hit the post with the 1st and mistakenly management would give Seon the 2nd who missed .( Jack should have been left on the pens his 1st one beat the keeper all ends up , the width of a post should not be a reason to switch pen takers ) Jack would do great work in the right channel and feed Seon and he would turn and smash a great goal to put Mallow 2-1 up half time .

The lads would come out in the 2nd half and really fix all the issues that where wrong in the 1st .No long ball beat the defence anymore and the midfield would dominate possession. Seon popped up with a nice finish in off the keeper from a Dean square ball .A few more late tackles a few shots from distance but with Darragh , Jordan and Josh coming on Mallow where able to push Kilworth into defensive mode and see the game out .
