After 6 weeks without a game the side was always going to be rusty .But you work hard and sharpness will return and that's how the game went .We missed a few chances in the first 30 mins with Charlie Jordan and Seon all going close .We nearly got done by a long ball and Thomas made a fine save with his feet .A few scares with poor passing where snuffed out until Seon got the break thru heading home from an Adam McGrath corner .Minutes later Trevor with flight a super pass from deep in his own half to Jack and he smartly finished behind the defence line .Sam Mangan , Peter Ruby , Jonah , Kevin and Dean would all come on in the 2nd half and tire an even more tired but very spirited Avondale side .Jack was fouled 25 yards and and Killian O Brien would smash a great free kick into the net 3-0 .Avondale didn't give up and score from a free themselves with a rebound coming off the crossbar. 3-1 ,Before any comeback was on Dave Relihan passed the ball to Seon and from the half way Seon would drive at the defence and finishing thru the keepers legs to make it 4-1 and safe .
