Vegas took another big step towards the division 1 title with a resounding, although somewhat sloppy, victory over London Angels. Vegas started well with their footballing principles controlling the first 10minutes of the tie.

After some intricate football Shazad Latif laid the ball off to Patrick Moore Jones 25-30 yards out who unleased an upstoppable drive into the top right hand corner of the goal. Moments later Vegas scored again after great work by Paul 'Trigs' Reid who crossed deep into the penalty area for Moore Jones to sneak in at the far post an tap in. Again the connection of Moore Jones, debutant Jacob Bond and Latif resulted in Moore Jones being fouled just outside the box which Nick Loblack smashed into the roof for his first goal of the season. Vegas should have had more in truth before and after those goals.

Suddenly, Vegas completely switched off and two defensive mistakes cost two goals that allowed Angels to believe they might get something out of the game.

Vegas woke up and a great team move finished with Bond laying in Tom Willmore who calmly slotted home. When half time came Vegas promptly set their stall out to attack and reaped their rewards when some great play from striker Tarik Allag freed space for Moore Jones at the back post to complete his hat-trick with a effort that finished in the roof of the net.

A penalty for Vegas followed after good work by Luke Morgan, Steven Bruce scoring emphatically. There was still time for atif to get his deserved goal before the end tapping in after making the keeper make a save from his inital shot. His play had thoughroughly deserved it.

(sorry about the title boys i couldnt resist!)
