Magical Vegas FC came up against closest rivals Dover Castle in their last game of the season and swept them aside in a dominant display to secure a memorable INVINCIBLE season in Division 1.

Dover started brighly playing a few easy passes but the pace and power on the vegas wings, provided by Tarik Allag and Kaleb King, was too much for the Dover defense to handle. After 10minutes, the in form, King was released by Steven Bruce down the left wing and he crossed fro Allag to tap in at the far post to make it 1-0. Soon afterwards King latched onto a loose Daver pass and drifted pass 3 defenders and slotted past to keeper to put Vegas in complete control. It continued in the same vein as King chipped to Allag who lobbed the goalie to put Vegas 3-0 up inside 30minutes.

Dover put some respectability to the socreline moments before half-time with a scrambled effort after a set-piece had caused confusion in the Vegas penalty box. The interplay of the middle three of Jacob Bond, Mark Maher and Shane McNamara was snappy but sloppiness crept into the whole side that was cruising at 3-0 which was highlighted at the break.

Vegas needed to kill the game off, Steve Bruce did (what they thought was) just that with a tap in to make it 4-1 only for dover to score another similar goal from another set-piece. Attacking full-backs Harry Pedersen and Louis LLoyd Pack made surges forward to support attacks and that helped the side pen Dover back in their half. The floodgates opened and Bruce's shot was saved for King to slam home for his final contirbution in what was a brilliant display from the winger. Luke Morgan and Winston Folwer replaced King and Allag to add fresh legs into the equation and soon after Shazad Latif entered the fray replacing Jacob Bond.

Vegas began to play with real fluency and swagger and some intricate passing and movement allowed Maher to shoot from the edge of the box only for it to hit the underside of the bar and bounce out, with Latif firing the rebound hard at goalkeeper who made an outstanding stop but could not stop Bruce finishing off the rebound. Latif then played delicate passes to Morgan and McNamara who both finished with aplomb. Especially McNamara whos 25 yard effort curled delightfully into the top right hand corner of the net. Overall the squad looked happy and seemed to be enjoying their football, hopefully a sign of more things to come next season IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE.
