Home league match

The Under 12 black squad welcomed Leeds City Jrs Blues for their first league game since October hoping to keep up with the league leaders

The pinks did not allow the terrible conditions to stop them playing some great football and found themselves 1-0 early on when Kall slipped the ball across to Brajan for a cool finish. Another quick goal from Brajan was followed by a top corner thunderbolt bolt from Jack L. the pinks continued to dominate in the opponents half and went 4-0 up when Jack L wriggled free from a couple of challenges before slotting home. further goals late in the half were scored by Usman (following a great assist from Jacob) and Brajan completing his hat trick with a header he didnt know too much about!. 6-0 at half time with the back line of Alex and Evie been very solid leaving Harley very little to do in goal

A bit of re-shuffling at half time allowed Harley to make a rare appearance out field and others to try some unfamiliar positions. the half was a bit scrappy mainly due to the condition of the pitch, but the pinks still worked very hard to score another couple of goals through Bobby with the visitors also scoring 2. William and Mackenzie worked extremely hard throughout and had arguably their best game of the season so far.

Brajan was given player of the match, but it was a close call this week

The pinks are still unbeaten and now joint second in the league, 4 points from the top with 3 games in hand, which just shows how much they have come on this season through hard work and a great can-do attitude

Well done guys!
