<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">In the fourth minute a defensive mistake gifted Tavern&nbsp;the lead against the run of play.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The initiative&nbsp;was quickly regained by Chet who pressed forward relentlessly; their reward came in the twenty fifth minute when Ryan Tait's incisive&nbsp;through ball was&nbsp;clipped home by Dan Lowndes.&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Jason Rowley was unlucky when he broke in from the left leaving&nbsp;two players in his wake before his shot smashed against the post with the defence beaten.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Controversially Chet were&nbsp;denied a half time lead when Ryan Tait finished off an exciting&nbsp;move only to find&nbsp;the linesman had flagged the ball&nbsp;out of play earlier in proceedings.
