On 23 November 2025, Lads Club Juniors U12 travelled to West Worcester Youth U12 Lions for a 9-a-side league encounter, kicking off at 10:30am. The visitors displaying thier new sponsors name ??OGW?? emerged with a commanding 3-0 win over West Worcester Youth U12 Wasps Hereford in a tightly contested 60-minute match. The Lads Club Juniors demonstrated both defensive solidity and attacking prowess to claim all three points on the road.

Deploying a 3-4-1 formation, Lads Club Juniors set up with three defenders at the back: Louis Howells on the left, Archie Rigby centrally, and Charlie Arnold on the right. The midfield quartet consisted of Joseph Lee on the left, Zayn Prosser and Flyn Gething centrally, and Thomi Scoular on the right, providing width and support. Oscar Jones led the line as the lone striker, tasked with spearheading attacks and finishing chances. Lucas Price guarded the goal, expected to marshal the defence and keep a clean sheet. The substitutes available were Chase Bracegirdle, Musa Touray, Charlie Clueit, Flynn Watkins and Finn Jones, ready to impact the game as needed.

The match began with early defensive resilience from Lads Club Juniors, as goalkeeper Lucas Price produced a full-stretch save in the eighth minute to deny West Worcester’s initial threat. Just a minute later, Zayn Prosser tested the opposition keeper from a free kick with a shot that was comfortably saved, signalling the Juniors’ intent going forward. Prosser again found himself thwarted in the 19th minute, but moments later, the deadlock was broken. Thomi Scoular capitalised on a close-range opportunity inside the box after the keeper pushed the ball onto his path from Zayn's free kick to slot home the opening goal, giving Lads Club Juniors the lead.

Shortly after, Oscar Jones came close to doubling the advantage with a one on one shot well saved in the 21st minute. The Juniors made their first substitution at the 21st minute, with Chase Bracegirdle replacing Oscar Jones up front. Defensively, Louis Howells was alert to clear a dangerous header at the same time, maintaining the team’s clean sheet. Lucas Price continued to impress with a point-blank reaction save in the edge of the box in the 28th minute, keeping the visitors ahead going into half time.

The interval arrived with Lads Club Juniors leading 1-0, having controlled much of the game’s tempo and chances. The second half saw a flurry of substitutions as the Juniors refreshed their squad. Flyn Watkins came on for Flynn Gething, Musa Touray replaced Thomi Scoular, Charlie Clueit replaced right defender Charlie Arnold while Finn Jones took over from left midfielder Joseph Lee a minute after. These changes injected fresh energy into the side.

Defensively, Zayn Prosser made a crucial tackle in the 34th minute to halt a West Worcester attack, but took a knock at the same time, demonstrating his importance in midfield. Just a minute later, Chase Bracegirdle doubled the lead with a right-footed finish, that the keeper divedfor early and the nobly ground took the ball over him into the net, extending the Juniors’ advantage. Louis Howells continued his defensive duties with a vital interception in the 36th minute, preventing a clear chance and maintaining the team’s control.

In the 40th minute, Oscar Jones was reintroduced to the pitch, replacing Bracegirdle to bolster the attack once more. His impact was immediate, as he turned a defender to meet the keeper one on one and scored in the 42nd minute from just outside the box with his left foot, sealing a comprehensive 3-0 victory for Lads Club Juniors.

Throughout the match, the defensive partnership, particularly Archie Rigby and Zayn Prosser, stood out for their composure and effectiveness, earning them recognition as players of the match. Lucas Price’s goalkeeping heroics and the midfield’s industrious work ensured the Juniors dominated both ends of the pitch. This well-rounded performance on the road against a very physical side will boost Lads Club Juniors’ confidence as they continue their league campaign.
