KSHs Girls 16s vs St Andrews East Neuk 16s

Friendly Match :

1st Half : Girls started on the front foot and started very well playing good football , we had an early chance to score but we didnt take the chance, the girls were passing the ball well , with the defence, midfield and Attack gelling well to create some good chances that we narrowly didnt take , our defence were looking solid and not under threat , our girls were dominating the match , the one chance St Andrews had from a corner we unfortunately conceded a goal, but this didn't deter the girls they kept at and again were unlucky not to equalise,

2nd Half : We made few changes to give all the girls some game time , we again started well , and started to create chances, on the 48th minute after some good build up play, the ball broke to Ashleigh who took a touch and from outside the area she scored a well taken goal into the back of the net , this gave the girls confidence and we again a few more chances to take the lead but again narrowly missing , we again with 7 minutes to go after an error in defence we allowed St Andrews to score , which was really their only clearcut chance 1 - 2

We had a few chances to get and equaliser but we just couldn't get it

The girls were superb today every single one of them and they deserved to win the game

Lots of positives to take as well as performances

So proud of this group of girls, playing today against an established St Andrews 16s Team ,

They have been putting in the work and we will continue to work hard and they will get the rewards
