Match Report - KPJ PENANG FC - OMEGA - 29 Dec 2020

The final match of 2020 give some excitement and lif the spirits for all player since its the season finale match. Match starts under bright and dry condition with some cloudy sky.

The match begin with posession for both team quite balance. Alpha start with controlling the game and launch a few through ball and some long range strikes. Omega also send some attacks but using more their winger Renu to launch an attack and some help by their midfielder.

However, a lob for Sam to Omega goalpost be wrongly headed by Omega's Boy give a lead to Alpha when the ball go into his own goalpost stun Zul from further actions. With a lead goal, Alpha starting to strike again by their midfielder and forward and this is show fruitful. A long range strike attempt by Ti gives them a second goal of the game and healthy lead to Omega.

With a gap by two goals, Omega try to enhanced their attacks, A combination by Moss and Najmi to test Alpha defenders is a good strategy. By a short but medium speed pass by their right back, Shukri give Wan Cho an oppurtunity to strike by score a goal on left handside of Alpha' goalie Hazwan who is within a reach but a medium speed ball by Izwan gives Omega the goal. Within three minutes, Izwan score an equaliser to swing back the game to Omega again however this goal is quite controversy as it be thought by Alpha defenders an offside but the goal still counted. Moving forward to second half with a draw for both team.

A substitute be made by Alpha and Omega, with Alpha's Nuri sub with Iman and Yasir replace Zulot. Omega sub Hazrin replacing Mujib, Zam swap in with Wan Cho and Pauzi sub with Najmi.

On second half Omega start to launch a several attacks to Alpha side. But nothing have produced a goal. Same goes with Alpha launching a strikes with right and left side. On the third quarter of the game, Alpha finally get the waited goal by a high kick from Fahmi but like Wan Cho second goal it also controversy one as it looked like onto the goal line. However the goal still counted thus give Alpha a lead.

Another sub by both side with changes Wan Cho and Pauzi then Iman change with Shukri who made lots of effort by changing his usual position from right back to right wing and thanks to him lots of attempts can be made. However, he got a cramp thus led to his exit.

Game ended with Alpha 3, Omega 2. The game is more enjoyable to watch than previous game. A good game to close the year as all player keeps improving bit by bit for the next year.
