Kirkstyle took on the currently undefeated Greendorrat for the 2nd time this season and after losing narrowly 2-0 last time were looking for revenge.
But it wasn't to be and only 30 seconds into the game kirkstyles injury jinx continued with top scorer Barry Foster injuring his ankle and having to leave the field.
Greendorrat opened the scoring after 10 minutes with a free header.
A bad start for Kirkstyle was made worse when defender Rab McGuinness saw red after 2 yellows.
Kirkstyle battled on with 10 men and were rewarded when Mark McCartney got his first goal for the club for 1-1.
Thistle were their own worst enemy and 5 minutes after getting level they went down to 9 men with Barry Corner picking up a second yellow and walking.
From the free kick Greendorrat went 2-1 up
And added one more to go in 3-1 up at the interval.
The second half saw Thistle try some damage limitation with Sean Carson having to drop deaper to try and pick the ball up.
Thistles midfield were tiring and being over run in the second half with Greendorrat adding 4 more goals to finish
