A dominant performance today, particularly in that second half on what can only be described as a 9 a side pitch!
We started on the front foot dominating the ball and we created a number of chances through excellent one touch football, however our opener after 6 mins was all about perseverance from Ace as his superb pressing forces the defender into a mistake and he capitalised on the loose ball to score our first competitive goal as Rob Roy.
We continue to dominate possession and spurn a number of chances before a defensive lapse lets Falkirk back into the game and for 10 mins after that the game becomes a bit end to end before we regain our foothold in the game but go in at the break level.
The boys came out in the second half more determined but we huffed and puffed again before Lucas hit a stunning strike from outside the box.
It's all one way traffic after this with the boys playing some great stuff and we get our rewards and put the game beyond Falkirk with a well worked goal where Sam gets in behind and squares the ball to Aiden who taps home to make it 3-1.
6 minutes later Lucas adds his 2nd of the game with some strong running and pokes the ball home to make it 4-1.
Overall, a good performance but against better sides we need to start taking our chances.
MOTM - Another brilliant performance from Lucas. Was great in possession driving the team forward and finished with 2 goals, one of which was a screamer from outside the box. Well Done Lucas. ????
