vs Netherton Tigers FC
Away cup match
We turned up of confidence after some positive performances on the pitch, even though our results were poor the war we was playing was definitely improving.
The first half was tight with both teams looking like scoring, but no one did and at half time it was 0-0.
Second half started the same and it took a penalty to break the deadlock.
Caleb Twilley mopping up Andy’s missed penalty
1-0 rangers
10 minutes later a great half volley from Andy saw us surely put the game to bed
2-0 rangers
25 minutes left and we seemed in complete control.
Here is he bit of the match that will define this cup tie.
A Netherton player got injured and Netherton had no substitutes so the referee and Netherton believed you was allowed rolling subs.
Netherton had made a sub at half time and failed to inform the referee.
We questioned this but the referee and Netherton were convinced you could so I said I would query it after.
Anyway between 80-94 minutes the game turned on it’s head.
3-2 Netherton
And yes the ineligible player that came back on illegally scored.
The game will be replayed.
Another example of shocking refereeing and what teams will do to cheat for a win.
I don’t mind losing but let’s do it fairly.
