In the Semi Final clash between King City FC and E-Logic FC in a tense tournament match at the Palace Stadium in Dagbolu on 4th November 2024, kicking off at 4:00pm. Despite a spirited performance, King City fell short, losing 3-1 in a penalty shootout after the match ended in a goalless draw after 70 minutes of play.
King City adopted a 2-1-2 formation, with Oladunjoye Philip stationed as the goalkeeper. In front of him, the central defensive duo comprised Alabi Olorunfemi and Ridwan Abata, tasked with maintaining a solid backline. Yusuf Mustapha operated as the central midfielder, expected to link defence and attack, while Ayanlola Timileyin and Opeyemi Adeshola occupied the right and left forward positions respectively, aiming to provide width and support for the attack.
The substitutes for King City included Adegboyega Olawumi and Oladunjoye Ayomide, who would later be called upon to influence the match.
