Kill kept up their 100% rate with a flattering 7-1 win vs Malahide. A newly trimmed Straffan Road looked plush as Kill started sluggishly. The opening minutes were all Malahide as Kill struggled to get into their passing rhythm. Rob Gilligan in goals was commanding as kill weathered the Malahide Storm. Amid the cries from gaffer , Jordan Lynch, Kill finally began to string some passes together. Stephen Power and Dean Conroy linking up well and a tireless Tadhg Montgomery drove kill forward. The kill opener came as a corner was cleared and an on rushing Alex lynch fired a volley into the bottom corner. Kill doubled their lead moments later as Alex lynch played a ball into the feet of Stephen Power. Kill's number 10 sent the Malahide centre half to the shops with a delicious step over and finished well. Kill conceded a sloppy goal from a Malahide free kick around the 50 minute mark. Their celebrations were short lived as Karl Maguire burst onto a loose pass and was fouled by the Malahide centre half. Stephen Power finished the resulting penalty with aplomb. Kill really kicked on after this and had their fourth and Lynch's second of the afternoon as he followed up a Cusack shot. Lynch was once again instrumental in kills fifth goal as he dinked a beautiful ball into the box leaving Montgomery with the easiest of headers. Montgomery got his brace after superb work by the impressive Maguire as he jinked his way into the box and squared to Tadhg who made no mistake in finishing. The final kill goal came from last seasons POTY as Cusack's shot was diverted into the Malahide net by one of their own.

A great result for kill as they look to have adapted to the Leinster senior league well
