Greenhills / Greenpark 0 Kill Celtic 6

Donning their new away shirts for the first time, Kill put 6 passed Greenhills/ Greenpark. Starting brightly, the now Royal Blue/ White were 1 up within 10 mins. Leon Carroll was swiped down in the box and finished the resulting penalty as he so often does. Not long later , Kill were 2 up after some great pressing by Carroll saw the GGFC defence forced into an error before the ball fell to Kinsella (who looks great in the picture). Kinsella curled the resulting ball in beautifully.

The second half saw Kill start slowly but against the run of play they went 3-0 up. An excellent backward header by Conroy matched the ball in by Callaghan. The game was sealed moments later when Niall O’ Connor sealed off an excellent counter attack with an strike from the edge of the box. Liam O connor added a fifth moments later after a nice nutmeg saw him fire a timid shot which dribbled into the bottom corner. The sixth came from excellent work by Carroll who set up his namesake , Stephen on a plate.

An excellent performance today by everyone inc all those who came on.

MOTM: Agboola, Carroll, Lynch and O Connor (L) were all exceptional today but it goes to Kinsella who was involved in everything forward today.
