Jets Y U16 White 0 vs 5 Harold Wood

The first 10 minutes we were under pressure but we dealt with it and we defended well as normally in other games we would conceded and bin 1-0 down after 3 or 4 minutes. We were winning the tackles but then we were giving the ball straight back to them through panicky passing or not passing but just kicking the ball anywhere. Our defence were doing ok and the midfield were winning the ball but we just cant seem to get that final ball through to our strikers. First half was 4-0 and 1 of their goals was a header 1 was a silly goal to give away as we could decide whose ball it was so 2 of our players left and they score. If you dont hear a name then you have to deal with it and that happened a few times in the 1st half.

2nd half was 1-0 and we were better than them, created more chances and was unlucky not to score, but once again their goal came from our mistake when our defender thought he was a striker and got caught out of position leaving space and time for them to score.

Our good points were that we defended corners a lot stronger, we competed for the 2nd balls and we challenged for more headers. I cant ask for more than the effort you put in boys and you are learning every game so that win will come.
