Insulators Reserves 8 vs 2 Ticehurst

After a season of promising performances it finally clicked for Insulators this weekend as some sublime football really did the trick against Ticehurst

A Jake Freeman effort was deflected in after 13 minutes, but when the visitors equalised shortly afterwards from the spot, it looked like another tight affair ahead

However, Slators really did turn up the dial and played some great flowing football all across the park and deservedly took the lead after 30 minutes through Ed Harwood. The lead was extended further after Cole Walsh scored following an assist from Ben Obbard

More chances come Slators was and the 3-1 scoreline at half time could have been more but for some good goalkeeping from Ticehurst's Sam Beaney

Young Harry Mascall was introduced for the second half and Cole Walsh turned provider on 50 minutes for Harry to open his account for the club

Cole Walsh then returned to scoring ways and with goas on 56 and 75 minutes made it 6-1 when he completed his hat trick

There was a consolation goal from Ticehurst with 10 minutes to go as they refused to go down without a fight

Despite this there was time for 2 more Insulator goals, both from Harry Mascall who also completed his hat trick as the game finished 8-2

Let's hope we can keep up this level of performance as it really does feel like something good is starting to form and we try to push on for a psitiv remainder of the season
