The cold winds meant that there was no shortage in volunteers to run the line to keep warm for todays game...
The game started at a fast pace and chances were created at both ends before a big kick up field from Insulators goalkeeper Craig Smith found Harry Mascall who beat 2 men and the goalkeeper to put Insulators 1 nil up on 16 minutes
Speldhurst hit back immediately after 18 minutes as they capitalised on a misplaced pass and a smart finish made it 1 a piece
The frantic nature of the game saw another assist for keeper Craig as the ball this time fell to Jacob Pingault who continued his recent run of form. 2 – 1 after 21 minutes and it was 3 -1 after 23 minutes as Jake Freeman made the most of a strong run to set up Jacob Pingault for his second of the game and insulators third
The game settled down with Insulators taking control but a lapse of concentration from a throw in saw Speldhurst reduce the arrears to 3 -2 just before half time
Insulators prepared for the initial onslaught from Speldhurst at the start of the second half but Jake Freeman again provided an assist as Cole Walsh scored after 52 seconds to settle insulators nerves
Insulators were looking a lot more organised in the second half and were awarded a penalty on 53 minutes which Harry Mascall coolly slotted home
The dominance was again rewarded on 70 minutes as Jacob Pingault completed his hat trick with a free kick that left the keeper well beaten
The game finished 6 2 to Insulators who continue to push towards the top end of the table and hopefully that run can continue in the coming weeks
