Up The Football League We Go

Solid performance down at the NK arena tonight. Off to a stellar start before a ball and had even been kicked, with Zinger Pinger Jaw Swinger pulling out and us getting an automatic 5-0 win against 3rd in the league, not bad. Our replacement opposition for the evening were Chartbeat Crusaders, a tough opponent, having lost 3-2 just a few weeks ago to them. We played extremely well however and were a different team. A couple of early goals saw us 2-0 up after only 10 minutes. We had some great passages of play, making some superb passes and playing them off the park. Some solid defending as well from Nye, Charlie and Chinny at the back saw us 3-0 up at the half. Second half saw the same good play, however unfortunately a couple of lapses saw us concede a couple of goals and ultimately end up 5-2. Shout out to Sam this evening for going in goal and making some cracking saves, despite being injured.

Worth noting we stuck around for a second match against Saints FC after, who we play next week. All I can say is I reckon I can feel an injury coming on??
