Hard Fought Win - Match Report By Pat

<p>Match day vs Marist who is current no.2 on the league table. A team we had beaten them a few time w/o losing any of them.. LLLC expect nothing but a win. Teamtalk before the game is to move the ball fast and defend as a team.<br /><br /> We started the game with high gear.. In less than 20mins into the game.. We were already 2-0.. With both the assist from Damo.. Both goal look similar.. Both goals were from a Long throw from the right and with Colin and yew boon lurking in the box to hit the ball into the TOP right corner of the goal at close range.. First half ended comfortably leading 2-0 into the break..<br /><br /> 2nd half Marist manage to grab a goal back from Incepcion due to some sloppy defending in the box, game on for Marist . With 20 min left to play, a Long kick from Sherman who finally found patty in opponent half.. A knock down from pat towards collin path and he fired a nice volley into the corner of the goal,no chance for the keeper. Leading 3-1, we all thought that was a KO punch for Marist. But not soon after, Marist won a free kick on our left side.. A cross into the box and a old man score with a header into the corner of the goal. <br /><br /> Marist press on hard on us to find the equaliser goal.. The final 15mins seems like 30min Long..As were defending it all the time.A Gd tactical change from Colin who requested a change of formation and player into the pitch at the final 10mins of the game to hold on to the win.. Incepcion manage to run down the clock.. Well deserved win to us.
