Better Late Than Never!!!!

<p>Woodlands Secondary..... 1st thing that came to mind was damn far away (for most of us. For Bee, JB was the 1st thing in mind.) SK nearly pulled out as he had no transport. Had to thank Poh for giving him a ride.

<p>Hopes were raise as we saw our opponents streaming in. Many of them had bigger bellies than Ron and more white than us combined. (cos Jenny dye his hair.)

<p>Feeling confident of an assured victory, manager had everyone practice penalty taking for the upcoming Semi Final cup game.

<p>Game started with Incepcion controlling the match initially. Through ball towards Colin but he was not able to finish. Not long after, Dynamic scored out of nowhere and we were stunned. We regained our composure and a good cross from Harold (with his left foot) saw 4 Incepcion players lining up in the box to finish it off. Pat was the lucky one and he finished it with composure.

<p>Our play was unusually poor with passing going astray, people trying to take on the whole opponent team. We were basically not in the game. Minimal effort from everyone on the field. Seems like our minds were already on the coming Semi Finals. It was a pain to watch and also to play. We were letting ourselves down.

<p>Half time score: 1-1

<p>Half time talk was to put in more effort and just play the passing game. 2 touches and pass. That was the plan. Simple.

<p>Within 5 min of the restart, Dynamic somehow took the lead again. We were not affect and continued to play our game. Everyone put in that extra effort to chase and play the simple passing game. We stuck to plan and a through pass from Pat found Colin who took a touch away from the defender but was brought down just outside the penalty. He did try to gain a few yards to fall in the penalty box but the Ref was spot on. Pat wanted to take to increase his goal tally but Colin was not gonna let him. He showed Colin a disgusted face but LL. Luckily for Colin, he managed to score. With time running out, Harold decided that it was finally time to show his sublime dancing skills. He dribbled the ball towards the penalty box. Colin saw him and decided that no way Harold would pass. So he draw the defender away by running away from Harold.(yes.... RUN AWAY FROM HAROLD) The sea parted and Harold simply waltzed into the penalty box. Harold being Harold, found that it was too easy to simply shoot and scored, decided to cut the keeper, cut another on coming defender then shoot to score. 3-2 to Incepcion with 15 min to go. We had several other chances with Pat shooting wide several times (what happened to the composure????) He must be too precoocupied thinking how to catch up and over take Colin's goal tally.

<p>Game ended 3-2 to Incepcion. Good 2nd half but an average game overall. No MOM this week.

<p>We definitely need to play better if we are have any hopes of winning the Semi Final match.
