Once upon a time, there was a group of middle aged men who played a sport called football. Led by the mighty lord Colin, they chalked up 5 wins in a row to equal their best streak. These group of middle aged men were serious about their game and worked hard. In their midst, they had a few young knights to bolster their ranks. Cladded in their shining armor, they kept the hopes of these middle aged men up in the search for victories. Over the past 5 weeks, this group of men conquered vintage towns and raked up victory after victory. Buoyed by the victories, they plotted an assault on a young city on this eventful day. Alas, Lord Colin was struck with a terrible disease (Cumcumuluspolis) and cannot lead the attack.

The Lord sent the troops out and it was a difficult battle from the start. The troops were huffing and puffing. It was difficult to cope with the onslaught by the enemy as they launched their catapults and battering rams at the group of middle aged men. Especially as the enemy had more young knights than this group. The enemy struck the first blow. Dealing a sucker punch right down the middle of the battlefield. The troops had reinforcements stepping in and two young knights combined to land a strike back. Knight Jerome did what old Earl Pat cannot do, as he fired a stinger right across from the right and Crown Prince Max slid in for the strike. The battle then took a breather.

Old heads were needed. Experience was the chosen tactic by the Lord for the resumption in battle. The enemy was infiltrating deep and a particular encounter in the town square caused a ruckus. The authorities decided to penalise the offender and the enemy struck another blow at this group of middle aged men. Another mistake by the garrison in front of the city walls led to a long range strike on the crown as the enemy clocked up another score. You might think the middle aged men were going down but on the contrary, the 200 years old defence stood up to the test and helped calm things down. It was all left to Crown Prince Max as he tried to lead the troops and he covered himself in glory with a splendid catapult. The siege finally ended as daylight ends and this group of middle aged men were defeated. Bruised and battered, they limped their way back and can only look forward to the next battle.

The End.
